Nurturing Your Baby Throughout Pregnancy
Congratulations on your pregnancy, and welcome to the Mothers2B pregnancy support section. Our aim is to guide you through each month of your pregnancy, covering all aspects including dietary requirements, lifestyle optimizations, changes you may experience, and the development of your baby.
As your baby grows in your womb, its nutritional needs evolve, requiring varying amounts of nutrients each day. While many changes occur each week, most are unseen, making pregnancy a unique opportunity to deepen your self-awareness as you bond with your baby.
Mothers2B offers a comprehensive guide detailing your baby's development every four weeks, along with tailored advice on supporting your growing baby with specific foods and essential nutrients for each stage of their development.
We also provide fully structured meal plans meticulously crafted by our team of nutritionists for every month of pregnancy, along with informative nutrient information sheets to assist you in optimizing your diet.
Frequently Asked Questions

Many women have heard that the magic number for weight gain during pregnancy is 25-35 pounds. This is based on the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommendation for a “normal” weight woman, but there are many variables at play that may make it healthier for you to fall outside of that range. We believe that if you are eating a nutrient-dense diet, moving your body adequately, and listening to your hunger cues, you shouldn’t overly stress about weight gain.

For many moms, natural remedies can be a big help for aches and pains in pregnancy. For other moms, the pain may be so severe that they need a little something more to get through the day. Ibuprofen and aspirin are a not recommended in pregnancy and while Tylenol is approved, we do not recommend it unless absolutely necessary. If ibuprofen normally helps you, try taking ginger capsules or turmeric/curcumin capsules to act as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. We also recommend chiropractic care, sleep and rest, mineral balance/electrolytes, and releasing tension.

We recommend a full blood work up at the beginning of pregnancy, including all nutrient status, thyroid and adrenal panel, and regular CBC. Depending on these results, we recommend additional testing every 1-3 months.

Pregnancy brings many new symptoms and changes to your body. We always recommend reaching out to your midwife or OBGYN if you are concerned. We hope that our month by month pregnancy section gives some further insight to symptoms you may be experiencing and why.
